To update your nanoloop one cart (model NL18+ only) to the latest version 1.8.1.4
- connect the data port on the cart to the audio output of this device
- set volume on this device to about 70%
- start the Game Boy and hold SELECT until the "nanoloop" logo appears
- press A+B+DOWN
- a grey rectangle appears below the logo
- play this audio file:
While the audio plays, the rectangle should slowly fill with black. When playback has finished, about 3/4 of the rectangle is filled.
- restart Game Boy
Troubleshooting
If the transfer doesn't start at all, stop playback, increase volume and play the audio from start again.
If it hangs/crashes after reset, something went wrong with the transfer. In that case, please reduce volume and make sure that no system sounds (incoming message notifications etc) are playing during transfer.
The procedure without playing the audio file will clear the update memory and revert to the original version.
